Connect the systems you already run.
A connector brings data from an outside system into Exarity — an API, a live feed or a file. Once it is registered, the assistant reaches that data the same way it reaches everything else.
Connectors are built on the Exarity connector SDK, one per system.
How a connector works.
Connect
Authenticate with an API key or an OAuth 2 token. Calls are rate-limited and retried with exponential back-off.
Validate
Each record is checked against a schema. Where none is supplied, one is inferred from the data.
Score
Data is scored on five dimensions: freshness, completeness, accuracy, consistency and uniqueness.
Ask
Registered in the capability registry, the source is available to the assistant with no assistant code change. Actions still pass through preview, confirm and audit.
API polling
Calls a REST API on a schedule and brings back what changed.
Live stream
Holds a WebSocket open for feeds that never stop: meters, sensors, positions.
File drop
Takes an uploaded file and treats each row as a record.
What a connector makes possible.
Three examples of what a connector can do. They are illustrations, not shipped integrations. All figures illustrative.
Accounting
Ask the ledger.
Connect an accounting system that has an API — Xero, for example — and invoices, bills and balances arrive as validated records. The assistant answers from them and cites the ledger as its source.
Example · not a shipped integration
Which customers are more than 60 days overdue?
- Halden Freight$58,400 · 74 days
- Corvus Energy$39,300 · 66 days
- Northfield$16,500 · 61 days

Meters and sensors
Track gas demand as it happens.
Stream readings from IoT gas meters and demand becomes a live series for every site. Ask which sites are running above their contracted volume.
Example · not a shipped integration
Which sites are running above contract?
Source: gas meter stream, daily totals, last reading 09:14
Time and attendance
Clock-ins against the work.
Bring clock-in events from site devices and hours land against the right site. Ask who is on site now, or where clocked hours and logged hours disagree.
Example · not a shipped integration
Who is on site right now?
Source: clock-in events, today, last event 12:02
Have a system you need connected?
Tell us what it is and how it exposes its data. We will tell you plainly whether a connector for it is practical.
